Minolta 7000 AF

The Minolta 7000 AF was Finn Ickler’s first SLR camera which he used from 2014 to 2022. He acquired the camera with one zoom and one macro Lense. In March 2019 the camera was damaged on a flight from Frankfurt to San Francisco, breaking one of the lenses and making it unable to adjust the camera settings. Taking the damage as a creative input the Project Discerning San Francisco was shot, which thought to capture the city without the ability to focus.

The camera was retired in early 2022, with Balkon being the last Project to be shot on it.
